Welcome back to Homemade by Pan! It’s another busy week at our house so I’m making our favorite quick and easy prep meal. It’s also a great pantry meal, since most of the ingredients are canned. And it’s what we made for my birthday party! It’s crock pot chili.
But here’s the catch: onions and spicy chili are a no-go for pups. So we made TWO versions: one for the humans and one just for me. Mine is bean-y, meaty, and 100% dog-safe.
A couple of notes: Kidney beans are fine for dogs as long as they are fully cooked. If your pup has never tried them, start with a small amount first to make sure your pup does okay with them. In fact, as always, all dog treats should be given in moderation.
See the video of me making these on my Instagram page!
